GAVIN GOWAN was happier than his counterpart Paul Cox after both bosses agreed to get this game on despite Poppies loan star Alistair Smith self-isolating before kick-off with a suspected case of coronavirus.
The decision paid big dividends for the Bucks as his side pulled further away from trouble.
The opening 30 minutes saw both teams trade possession, the Bucks wasting the best opportunity when Poppies keeper Paul White got his body in the way of Ryan Barnett’s attempt to beat him.
