GLOUCESTER CITY co-chair- man Alex Petheram says cash- strapped clubs will be forced to tie up the purse strings even tighter this summer - and will refuse to sanction a player’s contract which offers more money than last season.
In an update to Tigers’ supporters, Petheram revealed the homeless National League North club had managed to maintain a level financial footing, but says players will only be offered new deals on reduced terms to help balance a crippling loss of revenue.
