Macc move reaks of inconsistency

I READ Chris Dunlavy’s article on Macclesfield Town (NLP, Aug 16) with interest and it echoed my thoughts entirely.
Not only is this such an inconsiderately late and harsh decision to relegate Macc, but it reeks of inconsistency when Sheffield Wednesday were told they would be docked 12 points for the new season, that also after the old season had been completed.
