WYTHENSHAWE AMATEURS honoured President John Walker’s 70 years at the club by naming their new stand after him - just in time for their first ever FA Cup game!
The club’s Hollyhedge Park underwent renovation this summer, with the main covered terrace being named the John Walker Stand in honour of his landmark anniversary.
High Sheriff of Manchester and proud Wythenshawe local, Eammon O’Neil, was joined by the Ammies Ultras and board members to unveil the tribute - to an unsuspecting Walker!
