MIDLANDERS GET A CHOICE TO PLAY

MIDLAND League clubs have been told that they can cancel forthcoming games with 72 hours’ notice if they do not feel it is safe to play in the current circumstances.
Earlier, most Premier and Division One clubs indicated that they were prepared to resume playing yesterday following the Government decision to allow up to 150 spectators at Tier 3 games, rather than order them to be played behind closed doors.
Accordingly, games in both divisions will be allowed to take place up to December 31 if both clubs agree.
