NPL have to put needs of the clubs first

DAVID Stewart’s letter (Fans’ Forum, Dec 20) regarding the resumption of the Northern Premier League smacks of a 1970’s trade union rep who’s lost touch with the reality of a pandemic in 2020.
To accuse the NPL of selfishness and hypocrisy and (by implication) disloyalty, rather than appreciating the particular circumstances surrounding the decision making, seems naive in the extreme.
