Owner should be sent to the doghouse

I WAS gobsmacked to read the story about the game at Leicester Nirvana being abandoned because the Alsatian dog, and the mindless idiot who let it off its lead (NLP, Dec 26).
This could have turned out to be serious if the dog had decided to go for an adult or, heaven forbid, a young child enjoying a kick about at the match.
I have seen many one man and his dog at football games, and why not if they are behaved and kept under control. But this so called owner, who didn’t budge an inch, should be banned from taking the dog to games, and he should be banned to, for this irrelevant behav...
