Football has simply not learned lessons

IN The NLP on December 6, there was a very informative article reflecting the views of the administrators of various leagues at Steps 5 and 6. Now, another month of the scheduled eightmonth season has elapsed, and if anything, due to the additional Covid Tier system, it feels as though the general situation has worsened, while the answers being sought on loans or grants, promotion and relegation, season end dates etc seem to be no clearer.
