SEVEN referees from Kent have set themselves a target of running 1,000 kilometres over the month of February to raise £1,000 in sponsorship for mental health charity MIND UK.
The match officials, who are all based in Ashford and officiate in the Kent County League, are Ben Marshall, Bart Chmielecki, Morgan Davis, George Head, Mark Roberts, Jamie Turner and Josh Williams.
Marshall said: “We have decided that this would be a great chance to keep our fitness up during the closed season, as well as potentially raising some money for a charity.
