Southern League vice-chairman Anthony Hughes: Contingency framework is on agenda

With a second campaign brought to an end by the Coronavirus pandemic, the leagues are keen to use the time to put together a plan if a third also runs into issues

SOUTHERN LEAGUE vice-chairman Anthony Hughes says putting a contingency framework in case of disruption next season is high on their agenda.
With a second campaign brought to an end by the Coronavirus pandemic, the leagues are keen to use the time to put together a plan if a third also runs into issues.
While Hughes hopes 2021-22 will be a much more normal season and Non-League will bounce back, he acknowledges there must be more flexibility going forward.
