LUTON TOWN have added commanding centre-back Steve McNulty to their promotion-chasing squad.
It’s been no secret that Hatters boss Paul Buckle was keen to bring in a new defender before the transfer window shuts and he has now signed up McNulty on a free transfer from Fleetwood Town.
The 29-year-old, who includes Burscough, Vauxhall Motors and Barrow among his former clubs, won the Conference with the Cod Army last season and will be hoping to repeat the feat with Luton this term.
He joins the Hatters on a conditional 18-month deal and goes straight into their squad for Saturday’s Blue Square Bet Premier game with Barrow this weekend.
