BRIAN Barwick will hand over the National League promotion trophy this afternoon and, for the final time, make a dash in a vain attempt to avoid his suit being drenched in champagne.
It will be the final act of his six-year chairmanship of Non-League’s top two tiers and comes at the end of a difficult period for the competition.
