Tonbridge Angels

VERSATILE forward Aaron Smith-Joseph has joined Tonbridge Angels after impressing boss Steve McKimm on trial.

The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Woking before spending several seasons at Burgess Hill, can play as a striker, winger or in attacking midfield.

“Aaron came to us at the start of pre-season and has shown an aptitude combined with hunger and enthusiasm in both training and matches,” said McKimm, whose side were 14th in National League South when the 2020-21 campaign was curtailed.

“He has very much bought into the way we want to play and I’m delighted to have his signature.”
