An even first half with opportunities for Theophilus Ofori and Bello to open the scoring for Barnstaple.
Tim Stephenson tested Seedhouse - Evans from distance for Lymington, but the keeper was equal to it
Barnstaple took the lead after 53 minutes when a ball over the top found Ofori, who had plenty to do but finished with aplomb, but that was as good as it got for the hosts.
