HISTON have signed versatile left-sided played Ben Coker following his release from League One side Colchester United.
Coker was part of the Histon academy as a youngster before spells with Barton Rovers and Bury Town.
He made the step up to the Football League with Colchester in 2010 and went on to feature over 40 times for the U’s first team.
The 23-year-old signed a contract extension with them last May and was due to remain with the Essex outfit until the summer.
However, he was loaned to Histon in October and has now joined the Stutes on a permanent basis after having his contracted with Colchester terminated at the weekend.
