BANBURY maintained their unbeaten start to the season, coming from behind to beat Hitchin with a controlled and patient display.
It was the visitors who took the lead in the second minute, Luke Brown firing home from 20 yards with a low drive.
Banbury almost replied three minutes later but Charlie Horlock produced a fine save to deny Chris Wreh.
Hitchin started the better but the hosts gradually started to exert more pressure with Ben Acquaye forcing a save from Horlock in the 26th minute.
