AN inspired substitution and a hat-trick for striker Jake Reed saw Lowestoft fight back from two goals down to seal their first three points of the season.
The Trawlerboys were strangely lethargic in the first half with Jake Reed failing to convert a 14th minute penalty after Louis McIntosh had been brought down in the area.
When Reed was brought down again just outside the area when clean through Alvechurch were reduced to 10 men with Jamie Willets being dismissed they still failed to lift their game.
