STRATFORD Town’s flying start to the season continued as they swept aside a tepid Ives to move up to second place in the embryonic league table.
On paper, this looked likely to be a cracking game between two in-form sides but Ives’ injury crisis not only caught up with them but deepened as they lost experience centre-back Brett Solkhon at half time and influential midfielder Luke Fairlamb three minutes later.
