■ MATT MELBOURNE led the way as Shepshed Dynamo claimed a first win of the season.
The Dynamo frontman struck early on and John King added a second before the interval, before the hosts had Ollie Ward sent off late on.
Soham suffered early disruption when Lee Chaffey limped off with just seven minutes played and before they could reorganise Melbourne pounced to put Dynamos ahead two minutes later.
And it looked an uphill climb for Rangers when King made it 2-0 midway through the half.
