■ NAT WATSON’S header after 61 minutes was enough to earn Carlton Town a deserved victory.
Watson headed home from close range after the Lillywhites failed to clear a Niall Davie free kick. But the home side were grateful to goalkeeper Kieran Preston who made a string of excellent saves, none more so than from a Thomas Hitchcock penalty three minutes from time.
