BEDWORTH took on Winterton Rangers looking to put poor league results in the league behind them – and did exactly that.
They got off to the perfect start when a fifth-minutes mix-up in the visitors’ box saw new Greenbacks signing Liam Lockett put this side ahead.
Winterton fought back when Josh Walker scored with a header from a corner, but Bedworth came out for the second half a lot more determined.
A long throw from Luke Rowe found Eesa Sawyers in the area and he duly restored Bedworth’s lead.
