ROMARIO Dunne’s stunning strike sparked a second-half goal blitz as AFC Sudbury swept Basildon aside to go second in the table.
Dunne broke the deadlock in what had been a game of few chances after 48 minutes with a spectacular long-range effort, which gave home keeper Grant Hayward no chance.
Basildon, who had a first-half effort from Suiabo Balde chalked off for offside, might have levelled when Joe Wicks fired inches wide minutes later.
