A GOOD display by Corby saw them run out deserved victors over lowly Yaxley.
Corby took the lead when Connor Furey ran at the home defence before shooting from 20 yards out, straight into the top corner of the net.
In reply, Liam Hook tried his luck from long range, but he only found Matt Hall’s arms.
Corby might have increased their lead, but some poor passing or wild shooting was their downfall. The visitors increased their lead early in the second half, Jordan O’Brien cutting in from the wing.
