■ SHOLING went top of the
table with a solid win over
Slimbridge.
After a goalless first half, Sholing broke the deadlock two minutes into the second half when Joe Adams slid the ball in to Claudio Herbert to drill the ball home.
And only three minutes later the Boatmen doubled their lead when Robin Nicholls hit a blistering shot from 25 yards.
Sholing continued to press for a third with efforts from Dan Mason and Jake Cope.
Herbert set up Adams but his shot was saved and Jake Cope thundered a shot against the base of a post.
Slimbridge pulled one...
