Stocksbridge Park Steels 1-2 Shildon: Railwaymen stay on track with away win

SHILDON held on to beat Stocksbridge Park Steels in order to keep pace with league leaders Liversedge.

■ SHILDON held on to beat Stocksbridge Park Steels in order to keep pace with league leaders Liversedge.
The Railwaymen took the lead when Michael White reacted quickest to Dean Thexton rattling the bar with his free-kick.
The Steels rallied and felt aggrieved when Ross Goodwin was felled in the box only for the referee to give him a yellow card for simulation.
Shildon doubled their lead in the second half when Billy Greulich-Smith smartly finished from a well hit cross from the right.
The Steels got back into it though when Reece Fielding headed in a great cross...
