■ AN early sending-off took the wind out of Clitheroe’s sails before Kidsgrove scored two late goals to break their hearts.
Clitheroe had early chances from free-kicks in dangerous areas, but the opportunities were wasted.
The game changed after 30 minutes when Danny Wilkins was sent off for a second yellow card. This did not stop the home side and they took a deserved lead after 40 minutes through Cole Lonsdale.
