HENDON kept the high-scoring Taunton Town attack at bay and struck twice before half-time to record an important victory.
The opening 15 minutes saw both teams trying their luck from long-range but the shots lacked enough power to trouble the two keepers. A Taunton defence lapse gave Hendon the chance to open the scoring after 31 minutes. Shaun Lucien made space for a low cross, Hamza Semakula helped the ball on and Wilson Carvalho and Liam Brooks then both had shots blocked.
