BURY AFC’s Ben Wharton was the hero as the Shakers saw off Ryhope CW to extend their impressive start to the season in league and cup.
Wharton’s perfectly placed chip in the 84th minute sent the large Bury following into delirium, the ball coming down off the crossbar and into the net.
