WHITCHURCH ALPORT booked their place in the second round hat for the first time in their history as they saw off Lincolnshire visitors Sleaford.
Both sides had early chances to break the deadlock with Jud Ellis firing over the visitors’ target, before Ben Fielding dragged an effort wide at the other end.
As the half wore on, it was the Reds who began to take control with Ellis forcing a good save from the Sleaford goalkeeper Ben Martin and Celson Segunda thundering a drive just over the bar.
