BLOOD, Sweat and Tears – the story of phoenix club Macclesfield FC will be aired on BBC this week.
The one-hour documentary follows former Premier League star Robbie Savage and local businessman Robert Smethurst as they attempt to rebuild the Silkmen.
Macclesfield Town was wound up in September last year over debts exceeding £500,000 before Smethurst purchased the assets of the club.
