CHORLEY rebounded from a first loss in 11 games to cement their place in third with a hard-fought victory over Leamington at Victory Park.
There were warnings from the off that the Magpies meant business as Harry Cardwell forced Jake Weaver into a smart stop with less than two minutes on the clock.
Alex Prosser volleyed just wide for the visitors as the game threatened to become an end-to-end affair before Chorley began to apply some real pressure.
