A LATE bullet header from substitute Hans Mpongo saw Needham eclipse club history with a dramatic win over Margate.
Needham were arguably the better team in the first half, while Margate battled hard in the second half, wiping out Needham’s first-half two-goal lead.
Needham went close after two minutes when Ben Fowkes shot just wide of the bottom corner, while keeper Marcus Garnham was equal to Vance Bola’s low shot soon after.
