■ ROB Guilfoyle’s double on debut sealed only a third win of the season for Pontefract Collieries.
Promoted from the colts, Guilfoyle struck once in each half, before the hosts weathered a late rally to hold on for a win that lifts them above Bridlington in the standings.
The visitors started strongly only for Guilfoyle to head Pontefract in front with 32 minutes played.
The youngster’s day reached Roy of the Rovers proportions midway through the second half when he pounced to double the lead.
