■ TRAFFORD recorded a comfortable victory against a spirited Kendal side at Shawe View.
After a lively start, the hosts took the lead when Jack Dorney converted a tenth-minute penalty after Jordan Scott handled.
Five minutes later, Max Hazeldine made it two with a stunning 20-yard drive into the top corner before adding a third with a header from a right-wing corner.
Kendal battled gamely with two goals in four minutes by Matt Marsh and Darren Nightingale, the first by a wicked deflection, shocking the home supporters and making it 3-2.
