TWO goals in six minutes from Ryan Fryatt and Dion Sembie-Ferris midway through the first period looked to have put the high-flying Turbines in control but battling Ives fought their way back into the game with a well taken Ben Toseland brace taking them in at the break on level terms.
The hosts also looked the better side for the early part of the second half and visiting keeper Lewis Moat did well to keep out a well-struck Camron McWilliams effort.
