A POOR game in terms of quality by both teams and lacking in real entertainment for the fans saw the sides battle out a goalless draw which felt like a fair result.
Poole’s super striker, Tony Lee, headed wide from Burbidge’s free kick on 11 minutes and no more of note until Poole conceded a free kick just outside the box on 25 minutes.
Chesham’s top scorer, Bradley Clayton, took an excellent free kick heading in to the top corner but keeper Scott pulled off a fantastic save to deny him the opening goal.
