TWO quickfire goals early in the second half quashed any faint hopes that Maidenhead United might have had of recovering from Rob Hall’s excellent strike just after the half hour mark that had given Barnet the advantage at the break.
The Bees are currently in a rich vein of form with five victories in their last six outings whilst Maidenhead, who had had their last two games postponed due to Covid complications, lacked cohesion in defense and rarely threatened to create an opening of note.
