WHITSTABLE withstood a n second-half rally by Haywards Heath to record a third win in a row and climb out of the relegation zone.
All looked plain sailing when they raced into a three-goal lead soon after the interval, but two goals in five minutes midway through the half meant a few jitters.
Whitstable made the perfect start, taking the lead after seven minutes through Kemo Darboe, a lead they doubled midway through the half thanks to Stephen Okoh.
