■BIDEFORD started brightly enough, but found themselves a goal down after 13 minutes when Noah Copping broke free and neatly rounded the goalkeeper.
The home side responded well, with George Nancekivell and Niall Heeney both having strikes saved by George Burton in the Willand goal.
Willand doubled their lead after 42 minutes when Ben Griffith capitalised on some poor defending. Three minutes later Copping struck again.
