INJURY-RAVAGED Hertford picked up the points with a fine first-half display against local rivals Waltham Abbey.
A new centre-forward and centre-back pairing all made impressive debuts for a Blues side missing several first teamers, including playermanager Ben Herd.
All-action midfielder Jake Bunyan opened the scoring three minutes in with a rasping drive from the edge of the box and then, 20 minutes later, flying winger Obi Ogbonna doubled the lead with another long-range effort after jinking into the box.
