LEWES let an early 2-0 goal lead slip and will see this as two points dropped against struggling Brightlingsea, who had to play the closing moments a man down.
The Rooks couldn’t have asked for a better start with top scorer Joe Taylor netting in the third minute from ten yards.
And he doubled the lead in the 12th minute, being in the right place at the right time to bundle home after Razz Coleman De-Graft’s effort hit the underside of the bar.
