BOROUGH UNREST IS RESOLVED

EASTBOURNE Borough have resolved the internal dispute which led to the club’s entire board resigning.
A statement issued last weekend, within an hour of Borough’s 5-2 win over Hungerford Town, revealed eight directors, including chairman David Blackmore and CEO John Bonar, had intended to step down.
The relationship between the club –a community interest company since 2008 – and the Langney Sports Club at Priory Lane – the social arm – had become strained over elections at the sports club EGM on January 13.
