■ ELLIS HERCULES salvaged a late point for Kidlington in a hard-fought Oxfordshire derby.
In the first half it was Didcot who produced the one bit of good play as George Jeacock glanced in Jamar Smith’s cross.
After the break Didcot tried to kill the game off and should have done when Connor Barrett was released through one on one with the goalkeeper, but Harry Way smothered well.
Barrett then struck the post with a 20-yard strike as Didcot looked to turn the screw.
