■ THERE was nothing to separate these title contenders in a cagey encounter.
Dan Mason was denied twice by the Cirencester defence, having shots turned away by the Cirenceter keeper.
The best chance of the game came early in the second half and fell to Stuart Green who, with an open goal, shot over the bar.
Cirencester created very few chances and were restricted to long-range shots, with Sholing goalkeeper Ryan Gosney a virtual spectator.
The second half belonged to Sholing but their possession, wide play and corners came to nothing.
