A GLANCING header from Craig Duff five minutes after the break was enough to hand Bideford a Preliminary Round trip to fellow Southern Leaguers Paulton Rovers as they just overcame stubborn Westerb Leaguers Bridgwater United at the Sports Ground.
The home side adapted better to the blustery conditions the better in an otherwisre tense clash but both sides were guilty of missing chances in a game which had its exciting moments but was stunted by too many free-kicks.
