Sweeney sweeps Sporting to win

BROMSGROVE Sporting recovered from conceding a first-minute goal from the penalty spot to win a seven-goal thriller.
Dan Sweeney’s hat-trick, which included two spot-kicks, saw Sporting home, as the number nine again showed what a difference he has made to Sporting so far this season.
Stamford were awarded a penalty after just 12 seconds, for a foul by Sporting skipper Mike McGrath, Jonathan Margetts converting from the spot.
The hosts were level on 17 minutes, thanks to a fine effort by Miro Pais.
