■ KEMPSTON Rovers edged closer to the playoff places as Chris Nunn’s side secured a thumping victory over Thame United.
After a quiet first half, Kempston took a deserved lead through Seb Simpson whose original volley was spilled back into his path, allowing a simple finish.
It wouldn’t be long before Rovers’ lead was doubled thanks to Ben Baker, who hammered the ball home from a tight angle.
Kempston’s third came with controversy after Thame’s Hayden Beadle was dismissed for an alleged handball on the line. ...
