SCOTT Davies was handed a harsh reeality check in his first game in management after Eastbourne Borough romped to a thumping victory at Arbour Park.
Two goals from Jake Hutchinson led the assault as Eastbourne made it six games unbeaten, while Slough’s winless run stretched to nine.
Hutchinson profited from a George Wells mistake at the back to put the Sports in front on 15 minutes, tapping into an empty net following a cross from the left.
