Iron hold firm to send Bluebirds into trouble

CHIPPENHAM TOWN’S first home Saturday league game in 19 weeks saw the rusty Bluebirds slip into the relegation zone as they narrowly went down to a Joe Boachie first half brace.
The first half saw the Bluebirds shade possession but the service to new signing Matt Mc-Clure was poor and Chippenham paid the penalty. Iron’s keeper Jack Sims saved an early shot from Will King and held Luke Russe’s weak header.
