IPSWICH TOWN defender Jack Ainsley has joined Chelmsford City on loan in time to feature in their game with Bromley this evening.
Ainsley, 21, is a former England Under-17 international and has made a handful of first-team appearances for the Tractor Boys to his name.
Chelmsford boss Glenn Pennyfather is looking forward to getting the youngster involved and commented: “Jack’s played in the Championship as recently as this season and he’s a quality player without a doubt.
“I’m delighted Ipswich have allowed us to take him on loan so he can get some games.”
